The crashed Jeep was located around 4:30 a.m. on Riverwood Parkway, near the entrance to the Amberley subdivision. This area is significant as it serves as a main route to the clustered campuses of Greenbrier Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.

Concern grew when, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Gordon’s mother contacted authorities to report both him and the Jeep missing.
